The rotary compressor enables the condenser to cool in temperatures as high as 125°F and temperatures as low as -4°F with minimal temperature swings. Supplemental electric heat kits are available for areas where the temperatures may get too cold for the heat pump to run at optimal efficiency.

This 5 ton air handler is designed for large homes, delivering powerful airflow and dependable temperature control when paired with a compatible outdoor condenser. Please note that for this unit to provide cooling, an outdoor condenser is required for it to function. The unit can support electric heating as a straight electric furnace or as a backup for a heat pump, offered at an additional cost to be field installed.
Installation and Maintenance
The AC-I-60AH14 is a fully multi-positional air handler, meaning that it can be installed in upflow, downflow, and both horizontal left and right configurations. The front panels can be removed for easy access to its internal components for maintenance.
