3M Sponge Sanding Pads
Use to refine metal clay greenware and finish all metals. These pads work especially well for shaping unfired dry metal clay. This is a full sized pad measuring 4-1/2″ x 5-1/2″. Aluminum oxide is waterproof-bonded to the sponge material yielding a flexible, yet firm pad. Use to polish after applying a patina. The pad surface easily polishes the high spots leaving the recesses dark.
Micro Fine = 1200 – 1500Grit
Ultra Fine = 800 – 1000 Grit
Super Fine = 500 – 600 Grit
Fine = 300 – 400 Grit
Medium = 120 – 180 Grit
